Version 1.2 released
Hey Everyone,
I made some fairly big changes behind the scenes in this release. I separated the ColdFusion scope from the HTML scope since it was hampering some changes I was looking to make. You still have full access to all the HTML tags when you’re using the CF bundle.
I’ve added in one more tag, a CF comment tag. To use it, just type the text that you want commented and press apple + /. Enjoy!
Hi there,
Did you ever try to email the TextMate mailing list or any of the major bundle contributors, or stop by ##textmate on irc.freenode.net, or mention this page on the TextMate wiki?
The way bundles get to be good is by going into the TM subversion repository so everyone can work on them!
I really don’t mean to sound critical in any way. It’s absolutely wonderful to have people making more bundles. But if they are of functionality that all can benefit from, then get them into the repository, and get their screencasts on the TM screencasts page, and for god’s sakes at least tell allan about it!
Best of luck with the bundle. Maybe we can get it all up to snuff and committed.
Cheers,
Jacob Rus
Thank you! I have been using TM for about 2 years now to do mostly php development. I did mostly CF work for the prior 7 years and when called upon to work on old code I always wished there was a CF bundle. I tried to hack the HTML bundle for some minimal CF highlighting/comments with very limited success. I have seen many people looking for this over the past couple of years, you should get it into the TM bundle list/SVN if you have not already and perhaps some CF dev site boards (house of fusion, etc.). Anyway, thanks again for doing all CF developers on OS X this huge favor! Now to go look for Flex 2 & AS 3 bundles…;)
